Hey I'm Joanna!
I'm a small town girl who loves horses, camping, spending time with family, and capturing all the moments that come with. I started doing photography when I was 17 years old. I quickly discovered my love for photography when I did a themed shoot with my best friend and after that I couldn't put my camera down! The love I have for capturing real emotion and real life moments goes into every shoot I do!
When I'm not freezing your life moments, I'm enjoying my own by spending time with my husband Jared, finding new places to explore, or creating delicious meals in my home. I love cooking, cuddling cats, and hiking!
1. I love vacationing in the mountains over the beach
2. I am one of eight in my family! I have 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. Family is very important to me.

As your photographer I will do whatever I can to make your experience unforgettable. Being in front of a camera should be fun, it’s your time! It’s your time to feel good, look good, and be your best self! I want you leaving your session feeling confident!Not awkward, or worried. On your wedding day I will be by your side more than any other vendor, and I don’t take that lightly! I will be there to help with whatever you need as a friend, not a vendor. Experiencing weddings as a photographer and being a bride my self once, I know that a lot of the time it ends up being about what everyone else wants, and it’s hard to focus on your big day. We get lost and wrapped up in tradition and what’s best for others that we forget what the most important part of the day is. It's about the bride and groom! It's about your love! I understand that, and will be there to remind you of it! So why should you choose me as your photographer? Because I’m not just a vendor with a fancy camera. I’m a friend, and I care about your experience. I will get to know you, make you laugh, and capture your best self.
